Race4Life & Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial

Race4life 2012...  This season we will join forces with the famed Port City Raceway in Tulsa, OK to bring you the first annual DRC memorial.   August 30th-September 1st, will see competitors from many states come together to honor and support Donnie Ray Crawford's memory.  Race4life will give competitors the chance to run in Donnie Ray's memory while raising money for his foundation.  We wish to celebrate together his faith, his incredible appetite and skill he found in racing.   Donnie had a long history of racing the high banks of Port City.  If you ever needed a reason to make the travel to Port, here it is!

Donnie Ray was a incredible young man with a passion for racing.   But he also found a renewed focus on his future outside of racing, and was eager to study Petroleum Engineering.   His family is creating a scholarship fund for drivers who, like their son, want to go to college after racing runs its course.   "This scholarship fund is for those racing people out there who have tried to make it big and they realize it's time to move on,  and need to get in school”  Jodie & Donnie Crawford.

We ask any company that would like to be involved in helping the DRC Foundation by joining forces with the 2012 Race4life and Port City Raceway, please contact us asap.  We look forward to sending more updates in the next few weeks as sponsors and Race4life 2012 info comes available.
